Meet the Chef

Chef Brandi Artis, a Kansas City native, first fell in love with cooking while spending time in the kitchen with her grandmothers. Her love for cooking became a passion in high school when she worked in her first professional kitchen. Brandi's love for food turned into a love for the business as a whole and she was promoted to assistant manager before she graduated high school. Chef Brandi attended culinary school at JCCC where she also studied Hospitality Management and then furthered her education in the industry by attending, The International School of Professional Bartending. Over the years she continued to work in restaurants such as; Kona Grill, Bar Louie, The Classic Cup, Chuy's TexMex, Chipotle, and a few others, which helped to expand her knowledge in different types of cuisine. Most recently Chef Brandi owned and operated Simply Delicious Bartending and Catering in Chicago. Simply Delicious operated as a pop-up restaurant inside of bars and catered events for up to 250 people. Brandi recently relocated to St. Louis to pursue a new concept with 4 Hens Creole Kitchen.
